NaNoWriMo day #6

Good morning to you all! How's your novel?
If you're doing the regular NaNo, today you're supposed to reach 10,000 written words, are you on track?

November's so busy, I have to make a special effort, but I managed just over 400 words today, which is twice my mini-wrimo goal so I'm happy with that. I'm standing on 2416 words after 6 days of writing, which is also double what I need by this point, so I'm feeling pretty happy overall! ;-)

Weellllll....

Okay is a relative term, in this case. I'm better than I was, in that I've rewritten what was lost, and another couple hundred words, BUT, I'm now so far behind I need to be chained to my not-working-as-it-should computer for the remainder of NaNo to finish on time, and not December 18 as it is estimated at present.

Ahhhh, the highs and lows, joys and sorrows of writing.

I should be a taxi driver. Less mental stress. (Wait, I have kids, I am a taxi driver. Never mind.)

If I'm really lucky I'll hit 25k today. It's totally doable, but at the moment I have the sinus headache from hell so its eating into my writing time...

I hate this chapter. I may write it out rather than post it. But it counts towards words rather than stick to it.

Update: 1,000 words written today. So... Yay me.

Now, to bed. It's another crazy day tomorrow.
