Bluesday - too

When things are just too

Disclaimer: I tell you this, not for sympathy or to be cheered up, but to show that it does happen to everyone.

It gets overwhelming when things get too. You're too tired, too busy, too much housework, too many friends, too many places to drive the kids, too much on the DVR, too little ambition, too easy to ignore.

The toos are out to get you. Don't doubt it for a moment. Even if you think you've handled them all, they are lurking around the corner waiting to too you into feeling behind.

Last night I left work with a list of things to do! I was going to DO ALL THE THINGS! I even went to the bank, the went and picked up Eggs to take him for a walk with a friend. I remembered water and a bowl and the drool towel. I was on the ball! But the toos got me. The dog was too energetic, he got too excited, he pulled too much (I am too badly trained), he barked too much, it was too much of an hour. And so naturally, when I got home, I was too tired to even open the bottle of ibuprofen. I dropped to the bed with the thought of 'to hell with doing taxes'. It was another hour before the too hungry took priority over the too tired making me get up to make a sandwich. The things did not get done. The toos took hold and wouldn't let me go.

So tell me, what are your toos?

Yes, eventually things become under control, and then the toos go the other way. Too inspired to do anything else!

Tequila is an excellent payment for kid wrangling! YAY YOU!! YAY SPRING VACATION!

So true, and it's something we often miss among all the toos.

Tequila, the great equalizer. :) But yes - even though it's almost over, it's bee sooo nice!
