Camp NaNoWriMo

I saw this on another site and thought some of our 1_million_words folks might be interested. NaNoWriMo runs a "camp" in April. Not sure how it's different from the November version but it could be fun and/or inspirational.

You can click here to go to Camp NaNoWriMo if you want to learn more.

last year was my first time to use the camps; I treated them just like regular NaNo with the same 50k goal. It work brilliantly for me, so I'm doing it again this year. I've got to get my plot sorted out, but I have a world built and characters created, so that's a start.

The main differences with Camp are that you can set your own goal limit, and you can work on any project (not necessarily start a new one).

Oooh, awesome idea - a much better time of year and less restrictive too, so thank you. Definitely worth a thought!

Also, one aspect of Camp is that you can create "cabins" of "campers" for encouraging each other. We could make a 1MW cabin if we wanted.

(I'm ChokolatteJedi there too, feel free to friend me)
