RP Saturday! SixWordStories Edition...

What are Six Word Stories? That's an RP prompt that starts out as a six word sentence. You can do less than six words, but no more than six. The replies do not have to be six words long, only the initial thread post does.

Post with any character, reply to any character (if a character already has replies, go ahead, reply, start a new thread with them!)Again, you do not need to have a separate character journal to play, just let us know who you are playing. :) But if you do have separate journals, feel free to use them, this post is open to all!

If you've never RP'd at all, come join us. It's fun and no one will judge your ability. And you might find you like it! It can be very addicting, I will warn you. *cough*

I will add a questions thread this time, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask them in that thread. I'll reply promptly!

[reading a book about forensic evidence]

[watches as she continues to search the pages for the correct answer]

[reads a passage that sounds close to what it sounded like. They'd listened to the radio show and she'd written what she remembered about the crime scene.] Oh! Here. [points] The glass cut the man who shot our victim, so maybe he bled on it! We'd have to find the piece that cut him.
Feb. 16th, 2014 08:04 pm (UTC)
[smiles and nods to her] Correct. [crosses a line on his notepad] Now, What is your first step to find this piece?
Feb. 16th, 2014 08:07 pm (UTC)
We would have to go over the crime scene carefully and find all the glass. If we keep looking, we'd find the one with blood on it?
Feb. 16th, 2014 08:11 pm (UTC)
[nods again, crossing off another line] Okay. You have found a piece of glass with blood. [glances at her over his glasses; as her mouth opens] Don't rush. Think about your steps.

[she's been so eager to get it right, she's been hurrying through her lessons and missing simple items]

We have to bag it. Oh! But do it separately? And [trails off as she thinks] There's something else, [looks at him] but I can't remember.

[in his teacher-tone, which Nick hates] What's the first thing we do before entering a crime scene?
Feb. 16th, 2014 10:08 pm (UTC)
Observe it? Before it's been all trampled over?
Feb. 16th, 2014 10:12 pm (UTC)
[shakes his head and raises a hand in the air, noting that she's consistently forgetting about the gloves in these scenarios]
Feb. 16th, 2014 10:16 pm (UTC)
[realizes what he means and laughs at herself] Oh right. Gloves. I keep forgetting that. Why do I keep forgetting that? Have to put the gloves on first!

[continuing in that tone] You have to remember the gloves. Putting them on should come as naturally as breathing.
Feb. 17th, 2014 06:53 pm (UTC)
Yes, I have to remember them. [she doesn't like it when Gilbert is upset with her, and really she should have known that. She would just have to try better and make sure she remembers the basic stuff.]
Feb. 17th, 2014 06:56 pm (UTC)
[he can see the look on her face, and he doesn't like it]

Why don't we take a break? It's close enough to lunch. [nods] And we can continue.
Feb. 17th, 2014 07:25 pm (UTC)
[she smiles] Lunch sounds wonderful! I am hungry.
Feb. 17th, 2014 08:50 pm (UTC)
[closes the notepad he's been writing on; pushes himself up from the seat and offers her a hand] Grilled cheese?

Re: One-Eye, Farscape
[cocks his head the other direction and inches forward. Now certainly interested in the little thing that beeped at him] Cch?
