I'm a tad obsessed with The Witcher. I won't lie to you, so don't be surprised that my inspiration for this challenge was one of Jaskier's songs from season 2: Burn Butcher Burn.

Author’s note: Written for the songfic challenge at 1_million_words. This got a bit angsty, but I blame it on the song I used as inspiration – “Burn Butcher Burn” from The Witcher, season 2.
