Swap of Joy for agdhani

For agdhani It has been a while since I have written Star Trek but I had fun writing this and I hope you don't mind that I wrote the iconic trio that is Spock & Bones & Kirk.

Title: Christmas on the Enterprise
Fandom: Star Trek
Characters: Spock, Bones, Kirk and Uhura
Summary: Spock experiences Christmas and the art of Christmas gift-giving on the Enterprise.

You can read it here or on AO3

Spock still didn't understand the old human holiday Christmas. He had been fascinated by the idea of a time when humanity tried to show kindness to one another for one month. They had changed a lot before the Vulcans met them. Still, for some reason, Jim wanted to celebrate Christmas. Or at least the idea of celebrating with the crew and exchanging gifts.

"I am unsure as to the reason for these Nutcrackers," Spock stated as he studied the rather curious-looking things.

"They are a classic decoration and they can't be left out," Kirk reassured Spock as he clapped him on the shoulder a giant smile on his face. "Bones!" Kirk cried as he caught sight of the third member of their trio.

The doctor joined them and in his hands were two presents. "Here these are for you. Don't say I don't ever give you anything."

A gleeful look appeared on Jim's face as he tore into his present and held up a shirt that had "Dumbass #1" written on it. "Bones you shouldn't have."

Grinning Bones informed them, "I know but I saw them and knew they were perfect for you."

Already having an idea of what was on his Spock calmly opened his present to see a green shirt with "Dumbass #2" written on it. "I am touched, doctor."

"Oh if you like those then you will love these." There was no missing the amusement in Uhura's voice as she approached them with three gifts in her hands. The look on her face made it clear that they had little choice but to open them unless they wanted to face her wrath.

Uhura had gifted Kirk and Spock with shirts that stated" If Lost Please Return to McCoy" and Bones scowled as he held up his that said, "I am McCoy."

"I'm sure that those shirts will come in handy." Uhura's smile was innocent but those who knew her saw the mischief in her eyes.

"I do believe that Lt. Uhura has surpassed all other gifts given and to be given," Spock stated logically.

A grumble escaped McCoy, "As much as I hate to agree with him but he is right and the worst part is we are going to have to wear them on our next shore leave or Uhura will hunt us all down and force them on us."

And yes next shore leave all three were wearing their shirts and a smug Uhura collected her earnings from the bet she had going with the crew.
