Advice: Think of NaNo as ‘putting sand in the sandbox’. First drafts are all about putting sand in the box. You’ll come back to build and refine your castle later. The goal of NaNoWriMo is to collect as much sand as you can. Not every grain will end up being part of your masterpiece, and that’s okay. Just get it in the box!
