Crossover Challenge

Well, this is a first for me as I’ve never helped out on any of the challenges before, but I said I would help haldoor so here we go with some ideas for the Crossovers Challenge!

This challenge runs until October 15th. You have just over 5 weeks to create something – whether it be 1,000 words or any of 10 icons/5 banners/a wallpaper, if you are graphically inclined. I found myself doing a a lot of inadvertent crossovers during the Rare Pairs challenge and it was a hell of a lot of fun!

A couple of prompts to perhaps tempt your muse into cooperating:

1. Character A has been asked to help out Character B, leading to a whole new set of characters to play off!
2. It’s wedding season! What if one of your favourite characters from Fandom A goes to a wedding and meets a character from Fandom B?
3. There is nothing better than getting two baddies together – what about your favourite baddie from Fandom A working with your favourite from Fandom B?

So far, I’ve managed to get Angel from Buffy the Vampire Slayer working with Eric Northman from True Blood, and Spike from Buffy hooking up with Damon from The Vampire Diaries! The possibilities are endless!

Feel free to comment with suggestions of your own – no matter how outlandish, I’m sure there’s a home for it! My mind is turning over the idea of Shepherd from Stargate Atlantis helping John Crichton from Farscape which is out there to say the least!

And as a sweetener (as if one was needed), there will be participation banners at the end of it all, adding to the amazing word/graphics count of the community! So what are you waiting for? Get going!
