The biggest news in my neck of the woods is Henri. The storm was expected to hit here hard on Sunday, but like that crazy relative who decided to drive rather than fly out to visit you and is stopping to see all the sights on the way, Henri made landfall and slowed significantly. He's ambling his way north-west and is expected to take a hard right and actually get here in the afternoon today. If you happen to be in Connecticut or southern New York, ( or Tennessee) my fingers are crossed for you keeping your power and not getting flooded while uncle Henri looks for New England's largest ball of twine.
That said, your Flash challenge this week is: Roadside Attractions! Give me a graphic or 100 words about the quirky locations and I will... tell you that you are awesome!

Sadly, I am not able to link all the wonderful prompts that have been posted in the last week as I cannot fine the mouse for my laptop and legitimately cannot figure out copy, paste or right click on this laptop without it. Given the way last week went, I'm not holding out much hope for today. I'm about 8k behind due to multiple circumstances beyond my control and it's irritating the heck out of me.
That said, I'm gonna eat breakfast and see if I can get some editing in before work starts. Boss will be out today and tomorrow, so maybe the day will be 'calm'...
Anyway, I hope that you don't get too much blowback from Henri. I have a friend up in CT as well as one on Long Island and the storm's been all they can talk about. One more bonus to living in the desert, I suppose.
Hahaha - Mads gave me her Mac last night so I could pay her tuition and I couldn't figure out how to scroll down on a webpage. Apparently, you have to use TWO fingers and draaaaaaaaaaaaaaag. Like, how many drugs were they on when they thought that made sense? #notanappleperson

IMAGINE if it was a Mac!?! I am so keyboard dependent, I only use the mouse when the program requires. Apple is a hard no for me.
I'm supposed to see rain from 6pm to 6am, and right now the winds are predicted to be pretty tame. I do feel back for the folks who got socked by this.

Hah, my mood isn't a bad one at least. Not super psycho giggly like I was last week, but I'm a little too happy for being at work on a Monday. Even if certain people in this office are doing their level best to wreck it. *super squeezes*

Me, I'm on the lockdown blues right now, and the allergy I have that affects my throat at this time of year has flared up again too, so I am not at my best.
However, tomorrow is another day, so here's hoping it's better!
Henri was relatively uneventful here, it rained most of the night, and that's about all we had, unlike other's that it hit. So I'm grateful.
Lockdown will be over before you know it and my fingers are crossed for a quick allergy season.
