Weekend Challenge - Sports Clichés
Happy Friday! With basketball and hockey winding down (NWHL playoffs start tonight on NBCSN!) and the baseball season less than a week away, I thought it would be the perfect time to bring up some sports clichés- those things that commentators, players, and coaches say during or after every game that are both comfortingly familiar and maddeningly annoying.
I've got a list of 39 of these beauties so give me a number or more than one and I'll toss a prompt your way. If you write 200 words or do some art based on one of these prompts (feel free to drop the "we" and just use the gist of the sentence) by 11:59pm on Thursday, April 1st, I'll write you a drabble or add words to my WIPs.
