Are you eager for warmer weather? I know I am. This desert rat does not do well in the cold. So, stay warm and get busy being creative! Oh, and don’t forget that there’s a non-word/graphic counter going on here, too. The link is here – go forth and check out what some of us are accomplishing outside of our computers. I just had a look and I’m impressed with all y’all, seriously!

I have no idea what I'll be writing on for the Pool Party but there's plenty of time to figure it out. The weekly flash challenge sounds interesting so we'll see what happens.
I am looking forward to nicer weather- maybe not exactly summer because work is bananas at that time, but some consistent 70 degree days would be nice to have.
Hope you're doing well. Happy writing!
Ugh, you and me both, especially since I don't write fanfic, so this ought to be fun. We'll figure it out. Hahaha... I'd just poured myself a glass of pear white tea and I figured that was as good of a prompt as any.
I hear you on that. Personally, I love it around 80-90º, but there's a reason why my husband always told me I was a freak of nature, too. Hahaha. Just no more snow for the east coast and Midwest and I think we'll be good.
I am doing good, thanks! And right back atcha. :)
Apart from that, I am pleased to have managed some WIP work for the other long challenge, and am looking forward to seeing what people manage for Pool Party! I may make some icons for Umbrella Academy, as I have a bunch of screenshots lying around and haven't gone there yet. ;-)
Otherwise, I need to catch up on my temp blanket, post a wind-up for WIP Push, and then make some banners for those who participated in WIP Push, and we'll call it good!
Oh, and summer's hanging on here, with temps still in the mid-20's C (70's F), which is pretty pleasant on the whole. I'm only annoyed we didn't make it up high enough (not even for one day!) for me to get one row in the darkest colour for my temp blanket, and now March is here it's unlikely we will. Oh, the joys of living in a temperate climate... who'd'a thunk I'd be wanting it way hot, and conversely that come June/July/Aug, I'll be hoping it goes cold enough to use my lightest colour for just one day, but that probably won't happen either... LOL!
Awesome! Congrats on the words and have fun with the icons, too.
I see you got the wrap-up post done, so that's one thing off the list!
I'm laughing at the idea of something more than 20C/70F being way hot when I'll be seeing those temps next month. By July, it'll be 110F/43C+! But I am so not in a temperate climate either! Have fun with your blanket and I hope you get to use all the colors before you're done!
Thanks! The icons will be fun!
YES! Although then I remembered I need to do the count. *sigh* Should be able to do that shortly though!
Ha! Well, I did say mid-20's, so while it's NOT way hot by your standards, it's been sitting around 24-26C most days, so that's mid-to-high-70's to you, and an averagely hot summer here (add in the humidity and it definitely feels hotter)! I wanted it to get to 29C (84F) for the ONE day, which is definitely over the average for us (It got to 36C - 98F - in Christchurch where my daughter is now one day, but they don't get the humidity we do). 20C (68F) is cool to me, and not where I want my summer to be! That'll be April temps here.
Thanks on the blanket front! I know I probably won't use that coldest colour and I missed the chance for the hottest colour (as Feb is our hottest month) so it's unlikely I'll use them all, but looking on the bright side, I'll have some leftover wool to use for something else! ;-)

I hope so. I enjoy making icons, so I'm looking forward to trying some out this month, too.
No, and we don't have much humidity, either, which makes even a low temp seem warmer. It's all in what you're used to and let me say, I could not handle winter on the East Coast.
Aw, that's a bummer, but having wool left for something else is always a bonus.
