Weekend Challenge - Socially Distant Game Play

A couple of years ago I stumbled across a game called “Wing It” (created by Jon Cannon and Molly Zeff) at a local game store. It's a story-telling game in which players are given five resources (they have to use three) and then have to base a story using those resources for a particular scenario. The person reading the scenario is the judge for the round and chooses which story resolves the issue the best.

Drop me a comment saying “I'm in” and I'll give you a scenario and a set of five resources. You can follow the guidelines of the game or take either the scenario or any of the resources and apply it to your own writing.

And, if you want to get into the spirit of competition and want to play a round in the comments, here's a scenario for the whole group:

You are an amateur archaeologist who has found a beautiful Egyptian amulet. You present it as a gift to your true love, who puts it on and starts rambling in Aramaic and flailing about the kitchen with cooking knives.

If you write 200 words or put together some artwork between now and 11:59pm on Thursday, September 10, I'd be happy to reward you with a drabble or words to my WIP.

Have fun and happy writing!
