very productive word day

NaNo Prep Update: 10 hrs of wading my way through the 105 or so scenes points I had mapped out, to put them in a rough order, with some adding, deleting, and combining along the way. ended up with 154 points instead, with breaks for about 21 chapters. The chapter count will definitely change as the bullet points are fleshed out and more pop up or disappear...but it's about where I expected it to be, length-wise.
And it has a beginning point and endpoint (I was worried about where to end it)...and sets up the final showdown in book 4 nicely I think.
Didn't expect to get through all of this today...with still a month to go...but still plenty of tweaking and fine-tuning to do.
Dreamy...you're up for Sunday. Take it away!

Wow.

I do very little planning as far as NaNo is concerned (and I don't even have an idea at the moment) so seeing you doing something like this with over a month to go is really impressive.

I knew I had a lot of work to pull off continuity between book 2 and this one, so I wanted to make sure all the necessary threads were included. I don't usually plan so much (I don't think I do anyhow, that's changing with each 'sequel') but continuity tends to demand a certain amount of it.
And I didn't quite know where I wanted this book to end. I intended it to be an end to a trilogy, but there's too many threads to pull together so I had to get a grip where they were pulling towards.
And I did not think I'd get so much done yesterday. Once I got started though, everything started to fall into a clearer picture. Some details still to work in...but I've given myself plenty of time for that I guess lol.
