Hello and welcome to this week's Monday post! It's already Tuesday here, but I was too tired to post last night, plus I had to do grocery shopping to do (thank goodness for online shopping on those too-tired nights!).
I've actually just returned from a long weekend away with some of my family; we had a mid-winter break to a beach about an hour and a half's drive north of home, which may sound like a crazy place to go in winter, but in all fairness, winters are mild here (no snow in this part of NZ - I've only seen it fall once in Auckland in my whole life, and then it didn't stick), so you can still walk by the water and enjoy the air! And of course beach stays are cheap in winter (about half the price of summer!).
Anyhoo, onto writerly things! I have not been very fabulous about writing or anything much this year, so I need to get my fingers on the keyboard and GET STUFF DONE this week. I finished writing a fic way back in... March (?) and had it back from beta weeks ago now, so it's time to actually post the damned thing! I am so out of the habit with this stuff it's ridiculous. I also have a couple of icons to make, and had hoped to get Pool Party icons for The Umbrella Academy done too - I even picked out the screencaps to use a while back, but have I done it? NO! Time I got cracking!!!
