Hi, there! Hope April is treating you well. It's been quite a week 'round here: Moving furniture, moving *everything* including, of course, the cat - who never asked for this. It's had me thinking about change and about liminal spaces - those times when we are 'in between' and so I thought I'd make that part of this weekend's challenge.
Give me a shout to let me know you are in- and I'll send you two prompts: A list of 5 random words, and a quote or slogan about either change or liminal spaces. Could be interesting to see where it goes!
Write or art something by Thursday night, and I'll gladly make you an icon or two, or write you a ficlet!

His kitchen did not contain much, the makings of breakfast, a partial block of cheese, the ends of a loaf of bread. The cupboards yielded slight better pickings, a jar of spaghetti sauce, a partial package of pasta. It wouldn’t make a large meal, but it was something, and might help counteract the alcohol consumption.
She had just put the pasta into the water to boil when John finally spoke again, his voice faint and strained. “He didn’t hurt you…did he?” She could guess how much it pained him to bring up the subject. “I…we…tried to keep him out…”
“He didn’t hurt me,” she assured him. Not physically at least. The emotional pain was a side –effect she was going to have to deal with.
“If I knew some spell…some bit of magic…to break that Clan link…” he muttered bitterly. “Hate to burst your bubble, luv…but I don’t know everything there is to know about Clan yet…
“I know.” There was undoubtedly a way…something she had yet to discover. “I don’t expect you…or anyone else…to have the answers…or to protect me. I don’t blame you…”
“I blame me…and you being all noble…coming back here with me after what I…forgiveness is overrated…”
It's a great quote. My niece gave me that book a few years ago - she gives great presents.
Hope the kitty isn't too disgruntled with the move!
Hit me, and hopefully I can scrape up some time to do some writing this week.
