The Old Silents

I know I'm posting this a day early, but with impending house repairs to be done, I don't know if I'll have computer access over the weekend...so I want to have Friday to fill prompt requests while I have the work computer to utilize.

Anyhow...down to business.

I've compiled a list of old silent films, all available on YouTube.
Give me a number between 1 and 40 and I'll give you the corresponding film name and the link.
The challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to use that film...the title...any of the actors, etc. in any way you feel inspired to do so. Some films are longer than others, some are more obscure than others, (and I admit I haven't seen all of them yet ;) ) 200 words...two icons...a banner...or something more. Surprise me.

I'll owe icons...or words to my WIP...to anyone who meets the challenge...and you'll have my undying admiration lol!

And maybe you'll find some great little gems as well!

Good luck!

The Monster Inside - My Own Worst Enemy - Edward Albright - 208 words
(This called to mind another Henry/Edward combination)

The transformation to Henry became more difficult after the malfunction. Edward didn’t like the life- the wife, the kids, the sheer wholesomeness of all of it. It disgusted him. He wanted to go back to how things were when he was first recruited- spend a few days in an exotic location, get close enough to his subject to know his or her patterns, finish out the contract, and ride out the adrenaline rush with a beautiful stranger in his bed. It was better when it all went dark for a while. He could awaken refreshed and renewed and ready for his next assignment.

They told him the procedure could be risky, but was it any riskier than sending a trained killer into a dull-as-dirt 9-to-5 job? Edward didn’t want to die from boredom. Henry was a cancer to his system and the stronger that Henry grew, the more times that he appeared unbidden, the more Edward was in threat of losing himself. He’d faced down terrorists that the world considered to be monsters, but he was unable to confront the monster who threatened to take everything away from him.

He waited for the sedative to take effect. The next time he awakened, Edward would have his life back.
