Monday Again!

Wow, here we are in the last week of March.  This year is flying by it seems.  The weather has been beautiful here in the desert.  A bit windy, but overall wonderful.  Hopefully those of you stuck in a perpetual winter are starting to warm up some as well.

On to business!

Reminders:

1. Flash Challenge!  Your flash challenge prompt is: green.  Give me 100 words or a graphic and I’ll reward you with my undying love and admiration.

2. Last week’s challenges:

3. Big Buddy 80%!  How are you doing?  Thanks to a bunch of overdue book reviews, I’ve hit my goal and surpassed it even.  Now, to get some fic written.

4. The Daily Count challenge is here , in case you need to check when you’re next up.

5. March’s challenge has been Three Sentence Fics and has had a ton of great prompts.  You can find them all here.

6. haldoor has posted the Weekend Challenge Schedule through July here.   She’s looking for backups so if you think you can pinch-hit, go visit the post and let her know.  Not sure if there are spots still available for the last half of the month or not, but she’ll be happy to let you know on that.

7. Lastly agdhani has posted a request for Camp Nano here.  If you’re interested in joining or finding out more about it, go visit the post.

I think that’s everything.  Let us know what you have planned to make this week amazing!

ETA: I'm an idiot who hasn't been getting a lot of sleep lately.  *sigh*  Happy Monday early.

Happy early hell day to you too.

I'm sitting at 8,401 words at the moment. I'll probably reach my goal sometime today.

Boys have been chatter bugs this month.

I still can't believe I forgot to schedule this post instead of just posting. Hahaha.

Nice, I hope the boys continue to provide you with inspiration.

Now you know how I feel with them nattering in my ear all the time. :)

We all have our oops moments.

They are competing with the other lunatics in my head.

Yes, I do. If they keep it up, I'm gonna have to pay you royalties...lol

I'm telling you. I need less stress and more sleep, obviously. :D

I wonder if yours is half as crowded as mine these days.

Hah, considering what April's bringing my way, I might need those royalties. LOL

You and me both.

Somedays I have to wonder.

I'll see what I can do...lol

Good luck to you on all of that. <3

My brain is so LOUD some days. It's a wonder I get anything done.

Hahaha... I'll take what I can get. :)

I did do a double-take when I saw this first thing on MY Monday today! HA! I am pleased you're on NZ time for once! ;-P

I sat down on Saturday and did a good 1300 words, so I am very pleased with current progress for March - ahead of schedule on 3005 - even though overall I'm behind for the year. As that's only around 500 words behind it's no biggie and should be solved with another session like Saturday!

The Weekend Challenge schedule goes to early July, but if anyone is looking for dates in later July or the rest of 2019, they should definitely let me know in the schedule post!

My aim to be fantastic this week is just to get through it, because next week I have three glorious days off when my husband and I will be flying to beautiful Queenstown here in NZ for a birthday (his is the 1st April) and anniversary (our 23rd anniv was in Feb) present. It should be lovely and I can't wait! ;-)

I'm running on Reyes Standard Time - which means I have no idea if I'm coming or going, or whether I'm late or early. Hahaha.

Awesome! I'd be pleased too with that kind of output. 500 words is nothing, you've got this!

Well, happy birthday to your husband! My niece's birthday is on the 2nd, she narrowly missed being born on the 1st. I hope you guys love the trip.

HA!

Thanks! I'm pretty pleased I got this far, and not long to go on the fic either! ;-)

Thank you! I will pass on your wishes. Not only he got landed with April Fool's Day, as he was born on his eldest sister's birthday! The trip should be awesome!

Sad but true!

That's even better. Feels so good to be closing in on the end of it, I'm sure.

Oh lord, that's too funny! My sister and my sister-in-law do not get along well at all. When my SIL discovered she was due around my sister's birthday (June 29), she refused the possibility that she'd have the baby on my sister's birthday. Guess what? She was WRONG. My sister still thinks it's funny (as do I). My SIL, not so much.

My dad was born on his eldest sister's birthday, which to this day I find highly amusing. Him not so much.

That is really funny. A good friend of mine, her only sibling was born on her birthday. That would have driven me nuts as a kid. It was bad enough having a birthday in the middle of summer when none of your friends were around. :)

Yeah, I think my hubby feels a bit the same, but at least she's a good sister! Apparently she went to school when he was born and said she got a baby brother for her birthday, but they all thought she was April fooling them!

I'm at 6100 so far this month and I just posted my Titleception fic a couple of days ago. I'm feeling happily accomplished.

Its not Monday yet here for me...but my wordage is done for the weekend (I think...unless I pick up a rp bit to do) so I'm calling it a weekend.
a LOT of rewriting/editing words done this month...as I want to get this pass done before NaNo Camp. There's been a lot of fleshing out and continuity stuff fixed, bits missing in the first draft added...almost 50 pages of it (probably nearer to 60 when I finish)
But I'm happy with the results.
some preliminary work has begun on home repairs...so if I disappear its because my computer is being relocated temporarily. At least I'll have the work computer to check in on and to handle prompts for next weekend (I hope ;) )

It wasn't Monday for me either when I accidentally posted it. It was 7:45 Sunday morning. LOL

Congrats on being so on top of everything. And good luck with the home repairs. That can be stressful as all get out!

down to 2 chapters left now after this morning's writing. If my brain isn't dead after work, maybe I'll get another chapter in...or at least 1/2 a chapter would be nice.

I know how you feel about being brain dead after work. I'm currently brain dead while AT work so... you can do this though.
