Weekend Challenge: Random Phrases

I'm a bit unprepared this week as I still haven't got that schedule done, and I was so focused on the Bryan Ferry concert last night I forgot to ask anyone to do this weekend's challenge!

Anyway, I have a few random phrases floating about, and plan on finding some more by tomorrow my time once I wake up and see who wants one!

Comment here if you'd like a phrase for inspiration. If you create and post something from your prompt before midnight thursday I will either write you a three sentence fic for this month's challenge or add 100 words to my WIP in your honour.  Let's get creating!

You get: too much time on my hands

Change the 'my' to his or her or their etc if you want. Have fun!

k...I've written a longish roleplay scene today and used a whole bunch of prompts...so I'm gonna clip out the excerpts as I go...(better late then never I guess ;) )
She wanted to believe that no news was good news, that no change in Conrael’s condition was better than a change for the worse. But being so far removed from him, with him still in Tigh Ard’s tower room when she was no longer living there made her worry, perhaps more than she should, about his welfare.

Did Carl know he was there, she wondered? If not, what would he do when he discovered the unresponsive angel? And if he did know, how long would it be before he did something they would all likely come to regret.

She heard the reports from family, and she opened her home to all of those who cared to come to her. Peter and Destiny. Cassian. And Avner had retreated to Cassie’s, still near enough to the rest of his Gamma teammates to feel connected to them but distant enough from Carl’s reach to avoid constant harassment. Those in Coven Hall held fast, Lestat determined to protect his family from the Laird’s bullying, but even he was considering the possibility of relocating all of them to somewhere safer. Only pure stubbornness kept them where they are thus far. Father Andrew had moved into the church rectory when the anti-Catholic backlash began, and he was grateful then that Athelstan had already gone elsewhere.

None of them understood and most had given up trying.

She wouldn’t be surprised if the rest of the family moved elsewhere before long.

Well done! I've just added some words to my WIP so even though this technically doesn't need a reward, I'm going to call those yours! ;-)
