H50 McDanno
"Tell us something we don't know," Steve mumbled, then spoke more clearly, "it's just 30 steps to the blanket, Danno."

"In the sand. Which I don't like. You've known me for 9 years you should know this."

Steve turn back around, glare firmly in place and began to walk back to the house. "Forget it. I know you complain about everything but you couldn't keep them to yourself for the night; I don't even want to do this anymore."

again, another one I wanted to do more with, but its hard on my phone. Maybe on my laptop i can think more clearly and concisely to get it out.

Re: H50 McDanno
This was lovely and I hope Steve realizes that Danny sometimes just complains in order to complain :):)

Sam blinked at his brother and laughed incredulously, "All this time, and THIS was why you always hated the beach --- THIS instead of the shorts issue?"

Dean looked all of five as he slouched his way toward the bathroom. "This is why, Sammy -- that damn sand gets EVERYWHERE...."

An Iron Man inspired one :)

Tony still dreamed of the sand, how the sunlight was particularly blinding when it reflected it and how it covered virtually everything he touched, including the very arc reactor that saved his life.

When Pepper asked for a day at the beach to introduce baby Morgan to building sandcastles it took all of Tony’s self control to not immediately shout “NO!”

“Okay but for my own sanity, we can’t take out kid to the Jersey shore or Long Beach Island, it has to be a much more awesome beach—got any ideas?”

Romani detective fic
Sand.

It got everywhere, but one learned to accept that fact when living in the desert.

Andy sighed and began sweeping the sand off his patio.

Fill : NCIS, Nick/Ellie
“I don’t like sand, the way it gets everywhere, especially after four weeks of not having a decent shower…”

Nick was in full on complaint mode but he stopped talking when the shower door opened and a draught of air hit him, the chill all the more noticeable when compared to the heat in Ellie’s voice when she said, “is that your way of asking me to wash your back?”

Nick didn’t reply to that not in words anyway, but he did find himself thinking that it was good to be home.

Nice work, I really love these two together. Gives me Tony/Ziva vibes but in a different way.

“Of course you don’t like sand, Reid, you don’t like anything.”

“I like you, Ethan, always have.”

“Wrong answer, wrong time, wrong person, jerkface.”

Re-enactment (Original) - 58 words
Even after a shower, Jane felt as if she had a thin layer of the gritty substance covering her body, so much so that she could taste it on her tongue.

“Whatever possessed you to re-enact the beach scene from ‘From Here to Eternity’?”

“The answer is, now, as it has always been- you, my love,” Nick replied.
