Say What Friday

Greetings all....

Welcome to the last Friday of this month. Woo hoo, we've almost made it through the first month of 2019. We rock of course.

How goes the creating of words? Good, bad, non-existent? That's okay. I have something that may jump start the muse.

This week's quote of course. :)

"Live a lie and you will live to reget it." Jimmy Buffett

Do with it what you will. I will reward you with a drabble in a fandom of your choice if you do come up with something.

Please update your numbers once H gives us a counter. Thursday is the last day of the month, so let's end this month with a bang.

I did a two-fer with this one
The door pushed open a crack, just enough for hands to grasp the edge in an effort to provide further leverage. Feet would be next, arms and legs, and then the debris would no longer be a deterrent.
Skelter glanced into the maw, fingering the pouch he had sewed into his breast pocket, closet to his heart, feeling the finality of what he carried into the depths of his soul. “To be…or not to be,” he muttered into the dark, the growl of the water swallowing them so there was no echoed return.
Scarecrow had not yet come back. The first elbow and knee pushed into the room, along with outraged, frightened shouts.
To be or not. He had made a pact with death but it was one he had never intended to keep. Maybe he would regret the lie he had lived through that pact. But if Otta lived, it would be a lie well told.
To be or not, the only way out and through, was down.

Okay. Want me to add two hundred words to wip or would you like a double drabble?

I think I'm a week off the deadline...but I'm always up for folks adding to their personal count :)

I'll still reward the use of older prompts. The muse is happy, so we both benefit.
