So if, like me, you want to get some things finished before you get into any 'new' challenges this year, then drag them out and get writing along with me.
I found a great image to symbolise this month's challenge too - I love the idea of this being about a 'hot' WIP, whether it's steamy in a sexy way, or making your characters sweat in other ways, or perhaps the words are just so hot that they're pouring out of your brain and onto the page for you!

As for me, I've picked my old Mechanics sequel to work on, and today I kicked it off by reading through what I had so far, editing a bit along the way, and by adding 269 new words to it, which might not sound like much, but for me it's awesome, because I haven't written a word since last March, so I'm feeling really good about this, and about working towards getting it finished this month!
So what I need from you guys is a bit of encouragement as I go, and also for as many of you to join me as possible. Whether we finish our WIPs or not, as long as we're progressing, then that's a good thing! And it's all words to count, right?
And I'll be checking in again with you in a few days to see how you're going, and offer up some prompts if that will help anyone move ahead!
