Wonderful World of Wednesday

Be sure to turn in your numbers

"I was quiet, a loner. I was one of those children where, if you put me in a room and gave me some crayons and a pencil, you wouldn't hear from me for nine straight hours. And I was always drawing racing cars and rockets and spaceships and planes, things that were very fast that would take me away."

~ Gary Oldman ~

race

This year is slipping away ever so fast. We are racing the clock and sometimes it feels like we are losing.

**Warning** Canon character deaths

Sometimes we feel like we are running up a hill, even when it's obvious that we are finally running downhill.

**Extras**

Did you know?

In the Titanic movie, the story of the old couple who died together in bed was based on real people. Ida Straus gave up her spot on a lifeboat to stay with her husband of 41 years, Isidor. When he was offered a spot next to his wife, he refused to take it because there were still women and children aboard. They put their maid on the lifeboat instead, wrapped her in Ida’s fur coat, and were last seen sitting together on the boat deck.

That story about the Titanic is pretty cool. I'm amazed that someone could do that knowing they'd surely die.

Odd side note, that's the exact card I pulled for myself yesterday morning. Interesting. :)

Better to know you will die in the arms of a loved one than to maybe live without them.

Not sure if that is cool or creepy. XD

Oh absolutely. I've known my husband since we were 15, so yeah.

Hah - at least it wasn't one of the more dire cards, right? COME ON FINANCIAL FLOW! KITTEN NEEDS SOME KIBBLE! Hah. :)

That is very cool about Gary Oldman, and the Titanic story too. Love the pic! I am at the orifice so I won't watch the vid till later, but I just had to mention the others right now! ;-)
