Wonderful World of Wednesday

“Halloween wraps fear in innocence, as though it were a slightly sour sweet. Let terror, then, be turned into a treat…"

May inspiration strike well before the witching hour. So, you have time to play as well.

**Warning** Typical Horror Movie Violence

I am Thrilled to bring you this video today on my favorite holiday… and my 16th wedding anniversary. Now if anyone asks if you know someone crazy enough to get married on Halloween, you can say yes.

Did you know?

‘Grimalkin’ is an old word for a domestic cat, especially an elderly female one. It was used often during the 15th-18th centuries, when women tried as witches were accused of having cats as their familiars. Even Shakespeare used it in Macbeth, when one of the three witches refers to her familiar, who takes the form of a cat, as ‘Graymalkin’.

Happy anniversary! And you're not alone - my parents were married on Halloween, too. :) I suggested it to my husband for our wedding and he laughed at me.

gathering info and strategizing
When Rhyd sat again, uncorking the bottle with his teeth and taking one long, burning drink with his free hand resting innocently on Zara’s ankle, he muttered, “Information gathering?”
“Yes…and no…monitoring ICD chatter…after yesterday’s prodcast blitz…watching what Grainger does with the bug…”
“So he knows now? That there’s to be a breech?” Rhyd wiped his mouth on his sleeve after his second swallow of whiskey.
“He got it…he’s called his lieutenant in. Probably strategizing.”
“If he doesn’t get people in there, the workers are going to get slaughtered.” Assuming, of course, Skelter’s work on the inside was adequate to blow the door as they intended. If that effort failed, Skelter and his two companions might not have the chance to get free before they were jumped by disgruntled miners and convicts. No one needed that complication.
