The
1_million_words Swap of Joy is a chance for us to do for each other. It’s an opportunity for each of us to say thank you for all the cheering and support that is what makes this comm wonderful! It’s an occasion to stretch a bit and MAKE EVEN MORE WORDS! And you know how I feel about more words! ;)We're going to do the same it the same way we did it for the last two years
Step 1 - You list what you would like to receive as a Joy.
Step 2 - You claim a Joy you would like to fill.
Step 3 - You pick a date you can fill that Joy!
It's that easy!

Specifics:
- You will have from now until the end of November 5th EST to list the possible Joys you would like to receive (rough limit of 10 options). Comments here are screened. We will unscreen any questions.
- Some time on the 6th we will post the Joy lists without names, and we’ll be asking you to claim a Joy you’d like to fill. We will ask you to list 3 Joys you could fill (first, second, and third choice). Claim comments will also be screened. Joy claims will be filled on a first come first serve basis. We will PM you each to let you know which Joy is yours to fill. We would like to have you each think about sticking a toe or an entire foot out of your comfort zone. Wouldn’t it be fun to say thank you with a new adventure for yourself?!?
- We will ask you to sign up for posting dates. We are looking for the Joys to be posted from December 10th to December 25th.
Requirements:
1 – If you sign up with a Joy list you must claim a Joy to fill.
2 – Joy fills can be written or graphic. Written Joy fills should be a minimum of 1,000 words. Graphic Joy fills should be a minimum of a wallpaper or 10 icons.
3 – Joy fills must be beta read. And to be fair, we’re asking that if you make a graphic, you run it by someone as well.
4 – Each Joy should be an individual post to the comm and not a comment (you can post elsewhere and post a link post at the comm.).
We will be looking for pinch hitters as well, but we’ll hit you up for that when we do the claims.
