Say What Friday

Greetings my lovlies. We have survived yet another week.

How goes the writing/imaging? Still behind on your counts? No worries we still have 12 days before the end of the month. Plenty of time to catch up.

Here's this week's quote to inspire you.

"Lovers keep secrets from one another and yet they still make love."

Richard Sharpe to his future wife, Teresa

Remember this month's challenge is original fiction. Give it a whirl.

okay...I combined a bunch of prompts into another bit...which will be too long to post...but I'll throw in the paragraphs/sentences inspired by each:

(keeping secrets)

“No need to fret over it…no need for sorrys. Save it for after…and pray, if you think He’ll listen to you, that it won’t come down to that.” He crushed the now empty cup in his hand. “He sure as bloody hell won’t listen to the likes of me, mate. He never does.” Standing, dropping the crushed cup into the waste bin beside the bench, he added, “Just be there at midnight…when the moon’s dark…I’ll keep your arrival secret…and maybe if we’re all really damn lucky, He’ll get us out of this with only a few dents and bruises.”

“I’ll be there,” Matthew promised. Whatever his price to pay, he would be there…and hope to God he could pay it when the time came.
