Wonderful World of Wednesday

“Naughty John, Naughty John, does his work with his apron on. Cuts your throat and takes your bones, sells 'em off for a coupla stones.”

~ Libba Bray, The Diviners ~

We are all prisoners of our mind. Is your prison posh and pristine? Perhaps it is falling apart and easy to escape. Maybe it is haunted by fears and ghosts of our past.

**Warning** None

Who or what is knocking at your door? A friend. A foe, or a shape shifter out to fool you once more.

Did you know?

The levitation scene in The Exorcist was filmed by attaching monofilaments from Regan’s nightgown to a plate above the ceiling, and stagehands pulled her up to create the illusion that she was floating above her bed. It was so well done that when the movie was digitally remastered, the filaments didn’t need to be removed– they were completely invisible.
