Say What Friday

Happy Friday the 13th!!!!

No Jason is not holding me hostage. It's just a really good day today.

My oldest nephew turns 29, but the really big birthdays belong to Sir Patrick Stewart and Harrison Ford. So a big huge Happy Birthday to all three.

Now unto the reason y'all look at this post. This week's quote.

"The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams."

Eleanor Roosevelt

Have fun with it.

Happy birthday to your nephew! And I always knew July was the best month. <3

Also thrilled to hear you're having a great day.

Back to work for me - praying I can carve out some time for words today.

His mom is having the usual where has time gone attacks....lol

July is a good month, even if it ends up being hotter than hell.

I haven't made it to work yet, so we'll see how long the day stays great once I get there.

Good luck findind writing time.

I can relate to that! Hahaha.

Tell me about it. I'm at that short part of summer that I hate - monsoon season. I love the rain, but I hate the humidity.

Hopefully work was good to you on Friday! No luck finding any writing time yet, but that's what I plan to do at lunch.

managed to use this for a short segment of longer RP WIP:

Conrael remembered those bathhouses too.

He remembered a lot of things, some he wished he did not; others, however, were pleasant memories of camaraderie and fraternization, being part of something glorious if only for a moment.

In the scope of eternity, those moments were all too fleeting. And like all of those, these moments too would pass, like beautiful dreams into an uncertain future.

Frowning, weary of being so philosophical and morose, hoping for a distraction, he turned to the practical acts of unpacking his case. He needed to do something. He needed distractions from the racing thoughts that plagued him whenever he was alone.
