Weekend Challenge: Reality TV Edition!

Hello, everyone! I am your host for this weekend's challenge. Have you ever noticed what crazy names reality shows have? The good thing is that they can be crazy — and good inspiration for fics and graphics!

I have compiled a list of 238 reality shows, so leave me one number, two numbers, three numbers, however many you want, and I will reply with your prompt. As always, you can use them in any way you see fit!

Give me at least 300 words or 3 icons/a banner by midnight Thursday and I will reward you with an icon or drabble of your choice (in any fandom I'm familiar with) or by adding 100 words to one of my many, many WIPs.

You have until 11:59pm in your timezone Thursday to complete the challenge! Good luck!

Both paper and midterm went well!
did play with the casino theme a bit here...utilizing Legion's David Haller...or at least the space in his head ;)
No warnings or spoilers involved...
Chimes. Whistles. The whirring of roulette wheels and the chatter of hundreds, gathered around slot machines and card tables and a seemingly unending bar, greeted Tamara as she heard the heavy bang of the oven door slamming shut behind her. The stench of old alcohol, sweat and perfume permeated the immense space…and beneath that, another scent, something familiar and grounding that lessened the initial overwhelming impact of the brightly flashing casino lights. Despite the room’s vast size, it felt as stifling and claustrophobic as the kitchen had felt, and with all of the voices chattering at once, the deafening cacophony made for an overwhelming din that tried to burrow into her head like a devouring worm.

But this wasn’t within her head. This was in David’s, a conglomeration, she guessed, of the sea of voices he heard on a daily basis.

My god, she choked on her amazement. What must it be like to live inside of this chaos?

She called his name again, or thought she did, but the volume of the surrounding voices was such that she could not hear herself, and she very much doubted David, true David…core David, would hear her either. She could look for him here, spend an eternity trapped within this oppressive din of luckless anarchy, but she did not believe, as her eyes scanned the featureless faces of the crowd, that she would ever find him here. The David she knew, or thought she knew, would never want to be trapped here. He would desire peace…stillness…silence.

And so she had to find the way out.

But as she bumped and jostled through the crowd, elbows catching her in the ribs, drinks spilling on her clothes, feet stepped upon, hair pulled, ass slapped, the pain in her head grew, as if it would crack her skull in two just to make it stop. Little by little, the longer she remained, the lighting around her bled into a constant jaundiced hue fed by that laughter again which seemed determined to hold her here…

Hold her here until David absorbed her into himself.

That’s what David did, wasn’t it? Absorbed those who died around him into himself, adding yet one more body, one more voice, one more set of abilities and additional power into this already crowded realm, growing stronger with each one, growing more fractured…

…and feeding the might of the parasite that had installed itself here and refused to leave?

She couldn’t let that happen. She had to get out of here, had to find the man at the center of the madness…

And then what?

She supposed that was a call she would have to make when she reached that stage of her quest.

Wrapping the Tapestry of House power around her, she focused within herself, pushing the chaos of David’s head out of her own, seeking threads within herself that might be able to guide her free. Carl. Kavan. Curt. John. Anyone at all.

What she heard then was a wolf’s howl. Slowly, eyes closing so that the casino setting was no more than flashes of crimson and yellow beyond her lids, she allowed the sound to lead her. Her feet took no steps, and yet she followed the sound. Peter. Peter knew the way. Peter would take her to David…

…despite the very real fear that Peter was dead and had been absorbed into the realm of Legion within David Haller’s head.
