I went with 200...so hope that's right ;)

an excerpt from my RP WIP...just an OC (for anyone interested, Jagger's got Jake Gyllenhaal's face ;) )

One site after another. Comparing intel with members of Gamma brought the total of sites hit by this terrorist group up to twenty-eight…that he knew of. It had to be a group. With sites popping up around the globe, there was no way this was the work of an individual. Even if the explosions were managed remotely, someone was visiting each site to rig them.

Judging by the amount of data Jagger had determined was being withheld from those in the field, he was willing to wager that the number was significantly higher. Today he stood amidst the rubble of the twenty ninth location a lab responsible for pharmaceutical research. He and the six men and women with him were kept on the perimeter of the site, allowed to investigate outside but not inside. The building, single story, little bigger than the clone detention facility in Havensport, had imploded, leaving little debris on the outside, little evidence to sift through, little details worth scavenging for.

Rumor had it, the teams were being sent home.

Jagger wanted to know why. Wanted to know what secrets his superiors were hiding. Wanted to know why the investigation appeared to have reached the end.

Exactly right; a double-drabble is 200 words! Well done! ;-)

I wasn't quite sure if this would have worked for the unreliable narrator prompt but I do know that it is exactly 200 words. :-)

Just a heads up, but it's somewhat dark. A Mother's Love - OZ, Shirley Bellinger

Finally, it was a nice day. The sun was shinning and she was pleased as punch to be able to go out and photograph something besides angry waves with a camera that wasn’t covered and multiple layers of plastic. Sitting on a driftwood log, she aimed her camera up the beach toward the fishing boats and started shooting photos of the boats with the flocks of seagulls swarming above, hoping for a tidbit of something, higher above a bald eagle soared, circling on the thermals.

She would be lying to herself if she said she didn’t focus this direction in hopes of catching a glimpse of him. And she wasn’t disappointed. Coming out of his cottage, he stood for a moment before turning and heading her direction. Fishing boats and seagulls forgotten, she turned her camera toward him and watched through her lens as he walked, noticing his limp was less pronounced than the last time she’d seen him. She couldn’t help but take a few pictures. He intrigued her. Zooming in closer, she noticed his almost black hair and brilliant blue eyes. She knew the moment he caught sight of her by the smile that lit up his face.

This is so hopeful and wonderfully done. I'm behind, but I'm excited for them!
