Crossover Challenge: Last chance prompts!

OMG, we're almost at the end of the Crossovers Challenge dates - it finishes on the 15th October, so get your last few days worth of creating done, and post your links by Friday midnight (in your time) to be in for a participation banner!

I have three last prompts for you today:

1. What happens when a character or characters from Fandom A travel/s through time to Fandom B, which is set in another period, be it past or future?
2. Superhero/es from Fandom A find themselves in non-super Fandom B and the character/s there are blown away by the super-powers!
3. Transport earthly Fandom A character/s to outer-space/other world Fandom B. Who fits in and who doesn't?

I hope at least one of these may spur you on to write that last crossover this week - remember it only has to be 1000 words, or if it works for you, make ten icons/five banners/a wallpaper!

Let's be creative out there! ;-)

Word of the Day 10/11/21 Testudinate

Testudinate (adjective, noun)
testudinate [ te-stood-n-it, -eyt, -styood- ]

1. formed like the carapace of a tortoise; arched; vaulted.
2. chelonian.

3. a turtle.
4. any member of the order Testudines, comprising turtles, tortoises, and terrapins.

Origin: From the Latin word testūdinātus, dating back to 1720–30. See testudinal, -ate

The testudinate is employed where the span is not great, and where large rooms are provided in upper stories.

Now YOU come up with a sentence (or fic? or graphic?) that best illustrates the word.
