Word Skirmishes Today?

I'm going to be running 4 timed-writing rounds today starting at 11am CDT. Would love for folks to join in.

If this is your first time doing a timed writing, it works like this:
1. Gather prompts together
2. Sit down at your computer
3. Come back to this post. At the beginning of each round, there is a comment that says "Start of Round X". You may want to set a timer of your own.
4. Type like crazy
5. At the end of the round, there will be a comment that says "End of Round X". Reply to that comment with your word count for that round. All words are good words. We don't keep score and we're here to cheer you on. On the final round, if you want to total up your words for the session, that's great too.
SIDE NOTE: You don't have to be here for the full session. If your schedule only allows you to participate in a round or two, that's fine.

So I hope to see you back here around 11am CDT for some writing.

The schedule for today:
Round 1: 11-11:25am CDT
Round 2: 11:30-11:55am CDT
Round 3: 12:05-12:30pm CDT
Round 4: 12:35-1pm CDT
