[Weekend away]It's that time of year again. Weekend trip to the mountains with my church! In about 10 or 11 hours we will be meeting at the church and leaving from there to go to the mountains. On a good weekend, it takes about 2.5 hours, but there's going to be road work going there and coming home on Sunday afternoon, so the trip is likely to be closer to 3 or 3.5 hours! But I'm excited!

Weekend Challenge: Fresh trainers and a good pair of earphones....

Every sport and hobby has lingo all its own, right? I feel like I'm learning a new language as I run (slowly) along this summer.  So this weekend, if you are in say you're in - and I'll sprint right over with two terms from an online runner's dictionary. And because music makes the journey lighter, I'll include a random tune from a list of 50 songs from my iPhone library as further (hopefully) inspiration.

Your fic/art does not need to be about running - if a prompt like 'heat index,' say, leads to an angsty otp quarrel or some PWP then my job here is done. Except it's not, 'cause I'll make some icons or put words on a WIP to say thanks.

Happy weekend!
