Bran Castle

Melting Monday!

Happy Monday!  How’s life in your neck of the woods?  Things are good here, even if it is hotter than the devil’s underpants in these parts.  But that’s life in the desert, I suppose.   I’d rather the extreme heat than piles of snow.  But then, I’ve been told I’m a freak of nature.

How are you doing with your bingo cards?  I have a single line so far, but am hoping to get the rest done as well.  Wish me luck!

1. Flash Challenge!  Your flash challenge prompt is: cactus.  Give me 100 words or a graphic and I’ll reward you with my undying love and admiration.  (Side note: you give me saguaro icons and I’ll love you for life.)

2. Last week’s challenges:
3. Big Buddy 83%!  How are you doing?  Are you on track?  For once, I’m ahead of the game.  Everything from here on out is just gravy baby!

We’re in the final stretch for June!  Beat those WIPS into submission guys!

If you still want to, you can sign up for June here!  Additional note: You can sign up for the Daily Count Challenge here as well.

4. June’s Challenge is in full swing and this month it’s BINGO!  This is my favorite challenge we do here and our wonderful Dreamy even made a handful of fandom themed cards as well.  You can find them all here.

It’s going to be a great week!  Let’s go out and have us some fun!

Now YOU come up with a sentence (or fic? or graphic?) that best illustrates the word.

Daily Count Challenge - July!

You are all doing so well! Let's keep it up!

Comment here and I'll put you on the list! It's as simple as stepping up when your name is called and doing your utmost to meet your own daily word count (whatever that may be). When you finish, write a small bragging post and call up the next contestant!

Be accountable for one day!

Daily Count Challenge to dreamy!

Oops, this is super late, but I forgot to pass the challenge on during my last turn, so I didn't want to forget again — even if it's like 12 hours later than it should be!

Unfortunately, I did not get any actual words written yesterday, so that was a bummer, but I did manage to make a graphic, so it wasn't a total wash.

Dreamy, you are up next, and here's hoping you do much better!!
Big buddy

Big Buddy July!

Comment here with the count you can reach in the month (remember to factor in holidays, finals, road trips, pajama days, hangovers, etc). I will check in with you every 6(ish) days to make sure you are on schedule, to push you if you aren't, and to shake pompoms at you if you are (Well, I'll probably shake pompoms at you either way).

Your count is up to you. There is no minimum beyond what you decide. But Big Buddy will be watching you! If you pledge 100 words/images, then every 6 days chime in to tell us that you've produced 20% of them.

This is not words to be done in lieu of something else. If you have a bingo, or a big bang, or a drabble-a-day, it all counts! Words/images do not have to be posted to count, they just have to be done!
