Say What Friday

Hello all!

Welcome to the last Friday of the month. Remember to update your numbers by Sunday.

Happy Easter to everyone.

Also, Sunday happens to April 1st or April Fool's Day, and with that in mind I give you the following quote.

"Everything is funny as long as it is happening to somebody else."

Will Rogers

Have fun with it.

Weekend Challenge: Talkin' Like a Tough Guy

I know this is the last weekend in March and it's also Easter weekend and I should be doing something springy but I decided that was too cliche, so instead, we're going with some tough guy prompts, but not just any tough guys but my personal favorite: the world weary private investigator--WOO HOO!!

I chose these awesomely badass lines from fiction's toughest private detectives out there:  Sam Spade, Phiilip Marlowe, Nick Charles and Boston Blackie.

Choose a number between 1 and 25 and I will give you an epically badass line.  For example, this line was spoken to a man headed for the electric chair: "You're gonna sizzle like a squab in a pan."  See what I mean by a tough guy :):)

I hope this craziness inspires you, so please be
as creative as you can--drabbles/fics can be as long as you want but at least 200 words and you can do any sort of art work the spirit moves you    Just post your work by Thursday night at 11:59pm EST, and you'll be golden.  Lastly, HAVE FUN!!!

March Challenge: 5+1

Hey everyone! Hope the month of March has treated everyone well! Can't believe it's already the end of the month. I dropped the ball on a mid-month hit up for this challenge, so I totally apologize about that. However, I would love to see everyone's creations if anyone has finished a 5+1 Prompt!

Feel free to post a link on this post for all to see, and I will hit up each comment by asking what that person wants for a reward. I can try anything - especially small drabbles and words.

Thanks for participating! Happy April!
