Now YOU come up with a sentence (or fic? or graphic?) that best illustrates the word.
Big buddy

Big Buddy and a favor to ask!

Hey there folks.

I'm sorry for the sporadic or non-existent appearances here. Family issues have only gotten heavier since August. I don't know why I thought they'd get lighter *sigh*, but I do live in hope that soon enough ... *sigh*

H is still dealing with a lot of her own stuff as you know and it will be a few weeks at least until she's able to give you the cheering you deserve. For me it's going to be longer. It will be at least mid-June before I can be the attentive mod you deserve.

So the favor - I will keep up with the scheduled posts (not Monday - Thank you SHARPIE!) Big buddy, and other prompt posts. But I would love it if any of you could find the time to cheer other members on, post a flash challenge, post a 'hey look what I did' that would be AWESOME!!!!

Thank you! And now to the BB list - and yeah, I'm nowhere near the number I should be at. How about you?

Weekend Challenge: Percy Jackson and the ...

Hey everyone, hope the muses are treating you well!

The theme for this weekend challenge is one of my favourite book series of all time: Percy Jackson! Now for those of you who have not had the honour of reading these books, the narrative is the best part as it is from the point of view of Percy (who is not a very reliable narrator). This is especially shown in the chapter titles, for example the first chapter of the first book is "I Accidentally Vaporize My Pre-Algebra Teacher".

So the challenge is to comment with a number between 1 and 116 and I will give you a chapter title that will hopefully inspire some words.
If you create c=something before midnight on Sunday then I will write or create you a reward from my list ;)

So fire away!
