Daily Count Challenge to agdhani

Finally got called for Daily Count! :D Perfect, I've got so much that I need to finish by the end of August it's not even funny. So, I decided to make today Sterek day, because I'm trying to clear my requests folder by fandom.

My first attempt at grafting a photomanip... I think it went all right. Would welcome criticism, especially if someone can tell me what else I can do because I haven't the first clue how to make a manip. I kind of just pasted his head onto the body and spent the next hour fighting with the colour levels / blur / smudge tools. What? It's my first week doing graphics!

“Those other werewolves that came rampaging through, Dandelion or whatever –”
“Yeah, from what you’ve said, they’re much worse. Hale’s quiet, polite, and hasn’t even killed anyone. You told me this… this dead tree stump thing is attracting supernatural creatures into Beacon Hills. Murderous supernatural creatures. How can the police force protect this town from them, when we can’t even protect ourselves?”

Total written word count = 3,191
Total graphics count = 1 manip banner + minor edits to 2 other banners for 1MW August Rush

And now I call agdhani! May you have success with more words or the editing of your book!

Weekend Challenge

Hello, peeps!

Sorry, I'm late, but here is this weekend's challenge.

Use this lyric in a fic or graphic in a fandom of your choice.

"You're so cute. I want to wear you like a suit. I bet you would look so good on me."

You have until midnight Monday to complete the challenge.

So go forth and create.

P.S. The first one to guess where the lyric is from will get a 1,000 word fic from yours truly.

Daily Challenge

My name was actually picked for the 29th, but I had originally asked for no weekends, and with the storm, Erika, coming to my state (Florida), I don't know what my situation will be over the weekend or Monday with power. I decided to get my writing done today (28th) to be on the safe side.

I did a lot today. I proofread a short story for a friend who needs grammatical help. I worked on some brainstorming ideas for NaNoWriMo (I plan way in advance). I'm pretty sure I'm going to be writing my first Veronica Mars multi-chapter. I just got into the fandom about a month ago, and Logan/Veronica (LoVe) quickly became my OTP. After writing a handful of short one-shots featuring them, I really want to try my hand on a longer story. It amazes me how active the fandom still is. I get more reviews on my VM stuff than I do in any of the other fandoms I'm a part of.

Other than editing and brainstorming, I also wrote 4 stories, each under 1k, for the Harry Potter fandom, and together, they total about 1600.

For those of you interested: Dreaming of Silk (slash), Bringer of Doom, Right Thing, and Love (Cross-gen).

So, I've had a very productive day, and I'm pleased with the progress I made.
