Word of the Day 03/16/15 Brio

Brio (noun)
brio [bree-oh; Italian bree-aw]

1. vigor; vivacity.

Origin: 1725-35; < Italian < Spanish brío energy, determination < Celtic *brīgos; compare Old Irish bríg (feminine) power, strength, force, Middle Welsh bri (masculine) honor, dignity, authority

Now YOU come up with a sentence (or fic? or graphic?) that best illustrates the word.
One Brain

First of all, I'd like to start today with a huge thank you to haldoor: THANK YOU, haldoor! And to all the other people who stepped up to the plate to encourage everyone else along. I had to take the weekend off from the comm, and it was so nice to see all the yay you's and other wonderful thing! This really is the best comm in the world!!!!

So the weekend challenge went well, and the monthly challenge is going gangbusters!! YOU ARE ALL SO FREAKING AWESOME!!!!

And hey, you'll never guess, but it snowed here again! YAY!!!! *please note the sarcasm* I really need to win the lottery and move somewhere else. So in that vein:
Lottery win!

That's right! Give me a fic or graphic on a lottery win! Maybe someone's bouncing excitedly. Maybe someone is thrilled to have won a free ticket on a scratcher. Maybe it's AU and there's a wedding lottery, and your character got the good spouse!

No matter what, make your Monday a winner!

Color Challenge - March 16 - Mimosa

For the next color challenge I've picked Mimosa which was Pantone's color of the year in 2009  Here's Pantone's description of the color:

Mimosa a warm, engaging yellow, is the color of the year for 2009.

The symbolism of yellow is one of the reasons Mimosa was chosen. "In a time of economic uncertainty and political change, optimism is paramount and no other color expresses hope and reassurance more than yellow," according to the press release from Pantone.

The bright cocktail and flowers of a Mimosa tree are perfect examples of the feeling this color conveys.

“The color yellow exemplifies the warmth and nurturing quality of the sun, properties we as humans are naturally drawn to for reassurance,” explains Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute®. “Mimosa also speaks to enlightenment, as it is a hue that sparks imagination and innovation.”

It's tough to cram in all the information into that tiny space! Who's up for it?

Today's prompts:
