Who has made their graphic or written word count?
sinecure [sahy-ni-kyoo r, sin-i-]
1. an office or position requiring little or no work, especially one yielding profitable returns.
2. an ecclesiastical benefice without cure of souls.
Can be confused
Origin: 1655-65; < Medieval Latin (beneficium) sine cūrā (benefice) without care; see cure
Now YOU come up with a sentence (or fic? or graphic?) that best illustrates the word.
Since my Thanksgiving weekend started today (Yay - no school or work until Monday!) I decided to post the challenge today. For all our American peeps, Thanksgiving is a very busy time so maybe posting early will help you squeeze in writing time. (For our non-American peeps, sure hope you don't mind the early timeframe!)
I have found quotes on Thanksgiving, Family, and Desserts. You can have as many of each as you want! Just give me the topic and the quote number(s) you want. Thanksgiving has 35 quotes, Family 40 quotes, and Desserts 60 quotes.
So your request might look like this:
Thanksgiving, quote 3 & 18
Family, quote 39
Dessert, quote 9 & 59
Anyway, post your requests and I'll reply with your quotes as quickly as I can.
Have a safe and fabulous holiday and/or weekend!
LETTER IS LETTERS ARE
T & U
Rules like always, anything that starts with the letters T and U, that your mind clicks on, is your prompt. You can post your work on any site, as long as you post your word counts (and link hopefully) here. And every letter is still open. If you missed a week, go back and pick it up!
Hi everyone! I'm so sorry for the delay but I'll try to do it quickly so we won't be too late for the calendar :)
So, how is everyone with the pages? I'm way behind (means: I couldn't be able to make one of mine)... If you're done with them, please send me the pages and I'll add them to the calendar folder :) Craterdweller, I've got your 2 pages, they are excellent, thank you so much :)
Happy calendar making! :)
