Awesome Monday

Good morning all!!!

It's Monday once again.

Time to be awesome.

Weekend word wars produced some excellent results, so well done everyone.

older_not_dead is running another promptathon, so toddle on over and see what's cooking, and maybe contribute a few prompts.

What are everyone's plans for the week?

Me, I'm hoping to catch up on my words for the month.

work...try to come up with enough time/words to round out the month...
figure out what prompted the school dream this time...

oh, and on the last week/weekend score...still managing to keep on track for 100 hrs. getting harder, and the housework is suffering, but we're almost through the month so...

Hopefully work cooperates. Don't feel too bad about the housework unless things are starting to grow legs and move around.

Good luck with the week.

Eh, housework SHOULD suffer. It is evil.

You can hit your goals, I know it! And if not, there's always next month. Sadly, real life has to come first.

The weekend challenge went well, too! At least seven fics and/or new chapters written with the prompts. Sweet!

I'm going to finish a stubborn chapter, and set some time aside for my stated Camp Nano project. I haven't done what I'd hoped with it, but I will aim to at least get 1 chapter and a multimedia file (video or animation) done for it.

That, work and running are it for me this week. Oh, and it starts warming up here later this week which will feel awesome - c'mon summer!

Awesome. Might be hope for my turn this coming weekend.

Good luck with Camp Nano.

I'd send you some warmth, but right now it would come with rain.

That would be okay - I'm one of those people who likes warm, humid, rainy days. As long as it's not also highly polluted like here where I live- then it's just hard to breathe, lol. But muggy's good with me. :)

Then you would like it down here until the mosquitoes or the flood waters carried you away...lol

The prompts this weekend were awesome! That's an awesome turnout, too.

Kick that chapter in its backside! Good luck with the Camp Nano stuff though.

We hit 93 this weekend so summer is officially on its way. I hope that the warm finds you soon. My friend in PA got rain and cold this weekend and had to turn her heat on. I can't even wrap my brain around having the heat on in April!

Ha. Yes, it definitely is about what you get used to. Here, we can get flurries and sub-freezing temps for the baseball home openers in April - it happens. Not so bad this year. I'm hopeful for a long spring and a nice summer. Fingers crossed, for all of us. :)

Exactly! Our triple-digit summer temps don't bother me in the least, but man, when the monsoons roll through in August, I want to wilt from those few weeks of humidity. :D

From your lips... I hope we all have a wonderful summer. Spring here is a fleeting thing, but I'll embrace it while I can.

Not a whole lot happening this week, which is a nice switch from the last couple.

There are things I need to do but every time I say I'm going to do them, they never happen. So, I'm going to keep my mouth shut and hopefully get some things done. :D

You can do this!

Glad things have slowed a bit.

Some days it's better to not plan to do anything. That way you don't feel
like a total failure.

Thanks. :) With my boss back from wherever he went and my co-worker back from South Africa, things are starting to get back to normal. Or... as normal as it gets in this business. :D

Ugh, amen to that.
