Awesome Monday

Greetings all!!!

Welcome to another AWESOME MONDAY!!!

How was your weekend? Did you kick word butt?

Work and a new fandom distracted me, but today begins a new week.

Big Buddy will be checking in later, so let's knock his socks off.

Is everyone enjoying the Rare Pairs Challenge? I'm finding the prompts amusing. kaige68 is still in need of prompts, so drop by her original post and leave some.

Bingo is wrapping up this week, so congrats to everybody who took part. You guys ROCK!

Let us know how you plan to continue rocking this month.

after 22 hours of frustration, my author site is up and running, so that was my weekend. It still needs a few more bits and pieces, including a photo of me...but as that's the scary bit, it may be awhile before that photo is added, lmao.

This month will still focus on editing and prep for publication. I'd hoped to have it ready for release by my birthday, but I doubt that will happen now. We'll see how this month plays out.

And I owe some RP stuff too...just don't know when that will happen. One day this week.

I see I owe some people rewards for the weekend challenge...I intend to get to read them and do some creating in the next few days too.

That's a lot of work, getting a site up and running, so GO YOU! Take it as it comes and do what you're able. I'm honestly very excited for you!

Congrats on the website. I can relate about the pic. I'm very cagey about the pics I put out on the web.

Good luck with the rest of your week.

I did kick word butt, thankfully! Two things helped: Word Wars on Sunday, and a cold weekend- not much motivation to go outside, lol.

I'm hoping to kick butt on a few fronts this week - getting a couple of projects at work either done or underway; writing the next chapter of a fic; and running my full 16 miles for the week in prep for an April half-marathon.

Hope the week treats everyone well!

Awesome! Good luck with both the work and the fic! OMG, a half marathon? That is impressive. Good luck with that next month, too!

And yes, I do by exclamation points by the bucket, why do you ask? :)

Thank you! I did a half last year- had a rough time with it when the actual day came (single digit wind chills, sore legs and my nerves were in knots!) but I finished. Hoping to do it w/o banging myself up quite so much - we'll see!

Lol... I like an exclamation point or three, myself! :)

You are a stronger person than I am. You wouldn't catch me out of bed with single digit wind chills!

Exclamation points are your friends!
Mar. 6th, 2017 05:49 pm (UTC)
That is awesome!

Good luck with the training.
Mar. 7th, 2017 02:49 am (UTC)
Thank you! All I'm aiming for is to do slightly better, so... fingers crossed. :)
Mar. 6th, 2017 04:39 pm (UTC)
I think I wrote approximately 38 words this weekend. Hah.

Yay for new fandoms though! That's always fun. :D

I'm loving the rare pair prompts, I have ideas for all of them at this point just... no time. It's one of those 'do I work on something half finished or start something new' kind of thing.
Mar. 6th, 2017 05:28 pm (UTC)
That's always a conundrum for me - I'll go on a tear with starting new things and then.... I've got a ton of wips! Which I drag my feet on 'cause... shiny new bunny! ;)
Mar. 6th, 2017 05:45 pm (UTC)
EXACTLY. And then I have the added bonus of an enabler who loves throwing bunnies my way. :D But it's all good... I'll never run out of things to work on, will I?
Mar. 6th, 2017 06:51 pm (UTC)
You love me and you know it.
Mar. 6th, 2017 07:03 pm (UTC)
But of course... I wouldn't give in as much as I do if I didn't. :D

Do I need to send EB5 (EvilBob5) your way before he visits his cousin, Trekster, who is vacationing in Hawaii?

The new fandom is Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries. It's set during the 1920's in Melbourne, Australia. It's very interesting and the UST between the main leads literally pours off the screen. I love it.

Time is relative, but more of it is nice too.
Mar. 6th, 2017 06:17 pm (UTC)
No, I think EB5 has done quite enough damage in these parts lately. But now that the 50+ MPH winds have blown through onto parts unknown, maybe my head will stop pounding and I can focus again. So, give the bun a skirt made of hay and send him on his way to Hawaii.

I've seen that on Netflix or somewhere and have wanted to watch it. Added it to my list. :D

Isn't that the truth? And the question still remains... what do I work on next? Hah.
Mar. 6th, 2017 06:51 pm (UTC)
Work on the new boys. :)

Five has his skirt and is on his way to Honolulu.
Mar. 6th, 2017 07:00 pm (UTC)
I can do that! Although I might slip in alt_Andy's lunch with alt_Jay first. :D

Might want to pack him a second because he's sure to eat the first. :D Tell him happy hula-ing!
Mar. 6th, 2017 04:57 pm (UTC)
I finished off 12 of 16 bingo squares so I am thrilled beyond bits. AND I started the weekend challenge last night, sure I'm behind, but it's words!

I'm right on track for Big Buddy, and I remembered to pack my lunch for today! It's going to be an awesome week!
Mar. 6th, 2017 05:57 pm (UTC)
Look at you go!!!!

I remembered to pack my lunch too, so it's gonna be a good day.

P.S. Don't forget the Big Buddy post.
