Awesome Monday

Good morning all.

I'm posting on behalf of our fearless leader. kaige68 has snow and plows up to you know where and hopes to have less of both by the end of the day.

Now, tell us how awesome you plan to be this week.

P.S. older_not_dead has a promptathon running this month, so go over and check it out. There might be something there to tickle the fickle muses.

I do not envy those of you on the East Coast/in the Midwest right now. I'm happy with the inferno-like heat we get during the summers, thanks. BIG HUGS KAIGE!

I have one fic started that I think I can finish this week. And ideas for about fifty more. Just as soon as I get my desk cleared off... words will happen! (Not to mention the trouble that always follows said words)

In other but equally exciting news, my soon-to-be 17-year-old (like a week from today) got a job working with her tennis coach. HUZZAH.

Cool, and I'm not trouble...lol

Yay for your oldest. A likeable first job.

Nope, you're sure not, but the places your bunnies take me can be!

Thanks! She'll be helping teach little kids how to play tennis, so it'll be fun and good for her at the same time. :D

more formatting this week...cause I figure I might as well book format all the completed books while I'm on the roll.
put lots of hours into it last week...and find I really enjoy the formatting bits.
we have had a few days without rain finally, but it will be back before the flood waters around the area recede much.
I don't envy those with tons of snow either

Good for you.

I know what you mean about flooding. This time last year, my part of Texas was very soggy.

Am aiming to just get through a couple of things at work that chewed up my Sunday. I'm thinking my fic brain might be back in gear by Thursdayish. :)

I followed the Older Not Dead comm - love the concept. I found the process a little confusing, though - are people just writing to the prompts published? I'll keep following it, though - it did give me a bunny for one of my pairings.

Grr... work can be such a pain. Hope things work out for you.

To answer your question, it's kinda like comment fic where you write for the pairing and idea prompted. Does that make sense?

Got it. I think the fandoms were further away from anything like my wheelhouse, and maybe that's what confused me a bit. I'll give it a shot next time around, though.

Good. The fandoms do tend to be more British or older American shows, so I try to find the any, any prompts.

Yikes! For those buried in snow - I can sorta feel your pain - a few inches last week brought Seattle to a complete stop.

Chugging along on fills for my bingo card - I've got 2 completed/posted and 3 in revision stage -- leaving me with 4 to complete a blackout.

I've written a little over 10K - still a tad behind on my yearly goal, but ahead for Feb. Law of averages says I should be on track by the end of the month :)

Still thinking I need some sort of intervention on signing up on challenges/bingos/exchanges - d'oh!

You certainly are on a roll.

You can do it.

I need the same intervention.
