All the things Monday!

Legitimately, ALL THE THINGS!

Today is the 28th, which means that the month ends this week. THIS WEEK! Have you written your 50,000 words? Have you written your 50 words? Have you participated in all of the fandom squee we've been glorying in? Did you get the weekend challenge done? Have you updated your numbers?

As November draws to a close that means that December is approaching. I'm not kidding! It starts this week! How's your SoJ doing? Are you ready for WIPness? Are you ready for the mad dash scramble of 100-in-100. There's stil time to hit me with more prompts! Go give me some words!

There we go. Now tell me, how awesome were you last week? How awesome will you be this coming week? It's all so exciting!

Ahh NaNo - wonderful for big buddy numbers and potential numbers for later months (after the beastie(s) are revised) - terrible for 1_million_words posted numbers, LOL

Bar headaches or any unforeseen events, I should be crossing the NaNo finish line today - I'm 1643 words away :)

That leaves me 2 days to see if there is any WIP I can knock out and post in Nov. otherwise my 1_million_words numbers in Nov. will be a big fat 0, LOL, as all other projects were shelved for NaNo.

Good luck with the final NaNo push!!!

They are words, eventually. YOU'VE DONE AWESOME!!!

No update since last night of course...since all I did in the meantime was sleep...

But now that I'm awake, I'm getting ready to head to the office to write in peace for an hour or so...and then will have new numbers...I hope ;)

Hope everyone's NaNo push goes well!

I *finally* managed words this weekend, which I plan to post later. November sucked all the writing mojo out of me and it's only starting to come back.

I realized, though, that I've either been traveling or had company eight of the last 14 weeks! That's pretty much unprecedented for me - I once went a whole year between visitors, so... wow. Add work on top, and no wonder it's been hard to stay on track.

SOJ and another gift exchange fic are in progress, too, so - yay!
Nov. 28th, 2016 06:56 pm (UTC)
YAY YOU!! I'm glad it's coming back, but you deserve some sever down time!

Hah. Just got off the phone with our OSHA inspector and HE thanked ME for making his life easy. I've never gotten a compliment out of OSHA so I'm already beyond my level of awesome for this week. :D

Anyway... back to things people care about.

My November goal is 15k words and I'm about 3500 short. I think I can knock that out before the first. SOJ is done, beta'd and ready to be posted! Managed to finish TWO weekend challenges, one being from the week prior, so that's a plus. My numbers need all the help they can get. *sigh*

Now, I'm waiting to hear on my kitty's recheck at the vet (he's getting his teeth cleaned and the verdict on whether they'll need to be pulled or not). So, hold a happy thought for my Buddy, please?
Nov. 28th, 2016 07:42 pm (UTC)
Good luck, Buddy! The happy news is that they can eat and do fine without any teeth as long as real meat pieces are small and/or they are eating soft canned food. We had a cat that lived the last few years of his 19 year life devoid of all teeth, and he ate gravy beef cut into little chunks with no problems at all!
Nov. 28th, 2016 07:47 pm (UTC)
Thanks! Hah - and he can't bite my feet when I'm not moving fast enough for him if he has no teeth either! But more seriously, he's got these great little fangs that stick out and are one of the true hallmarks of his personality, I'd hate to see him lose them. :)

And again, thanks for the reassurance.

OSHA LIKE YOU!!! THEY REALLY REALLY LIKE YOU!!! That is such an amazing thing! I am so proud!

You can do the words, OSHA like you, you can do ANYTHING!

Fingers crossed for Buddy!

Thanks! Whatever was bothering him last weekend seems to have cleared up. The swelling's gone, his breath no longer stinks, and he was trying to eat my flowers on Saturday. Hah.

Oh and - on FB, that dragon hoarding thing? Mine was a ball of empty wrappers of PBcups. Got into the christmas candy early. So yeah, empty chocolate wrappers!
Nov. 28th, 2016 10:07 pm (UTC)

Hah! We'd be great dragons, huh? You're eating all the chocolate and I'm plotting our next meal.

This time of year is always crazy in my part of the world (why Nano just doesn't work for me) as the year ends for school and all the things that wind down for summer here. Despite this, I should find time to write but haven't lately so I need to get my A into G regarding SoJ or I will be letting the side down!!!

Otherwise, it's card-making and writing time and as overseas cards have to be out by this Friday in order to guarantee receipt before the 25th Dec, I am BUSY BUSY BUSY all week trying desperately to get them done and posted by the end of the week - as usual I'm behind!
Nov. 28th, 2016 08:04 pm (UTC)
*fingers crossed* for getting all the things done! YOU CAN DO THIS! Now go write the SoJ! FREAKISHLY, I got mine written AND beta read on Friday. I know you can feel this accomplished as well!
Nov. 28th, 2016 08:07 pm (UTC)

I can do it, I know I can! This weekend, I will aim to get those words in - it's only 1000, right? A DODDLE (ulp!).
Nov. 28th, 2016 08:15 pm (UTC)
I did 2k in a few hours. YOU'VE GOT THIS!
