Swap of Joy for angelus2hot

So I got graphically inspired by angelus2hot's fandoms and pairings and came up with some lovebars, as below the cut. I hope you like 'em, Angelus, and as a bonus, I'm gifting you the icons I made (albeit in a very basic way) to use in the lovebars, should you want to use them separately.

And I'll throw these two icons in as a further bonus - they didn't quite make it into the last lovebar, but I figured you may like to see them too:

Enjoy, Angelus, and all best wishes for the season, whatever and however you celebrate over the coming weeks! *hugs*

Oh, I'm so pleased you like them! I think my favourite was the Nine/Rose one, but I was pretty pleased with them all in the end - and they were fun to do too! ;-)

So pretty!

How do you make love bars? That's one of the things I wanted to make for my giftee, but I don't know how. :/

Thank you!

I am no expert, believe me, but I decided I wanted to give them a go - first I chose the pics for the icons and made them a normal 100x100 icon size - I really liked the rounded corners that I did on two of the bars' icons, which I must admit I used an online programme (ipiccy) to shape using their borders choice, and then I opened a blank white background in Photoshop at 800x200, used the rules to line up where I wanted the icons to sit, and placed all of them there. Once they were lined up where I wanted them, I inserted the text, added a border and some stickers (once again I used the online programme ipiccy for the coloured borders and the heart stickers, as I am more familiar with it than I am with Photoshop and a combination works best for me, although I am sure plenty of people could do all that in Photoshop!), and then I was done, although for the Cole one I did soften the whole pic and add a neon streak (again in ipiccy), although I am happier with the text on the other two lovebars, which I didn't soften). Oh, and I then checked my size and got them as close to 600x200 as I could, which I think is about the right size for a lovebar, although I'm not sure about that!

I hope that helps you give it a go sometime! I had not done them before, so do give it a go - if you can line up the icons nicely (the rulers in PS are so great for this!) then the rest is easy! ;-)
