Cry me a river!

cry me a river correct photo crymeariver_zps3e08e393.jpg

Your prompt is:

Finally

I want a graphic or 100 words about a character finally giving up the ghost. Was it painful, did it need to be done, is the person they finally gave up on glad or sad?

No rewards, no deadline, just... finally.

Not a fill but -

Finally by Matt Fishel (on YouTube) is one of my favourite music videos. And it always makes me cry.

digging around in some of my old saved prompts...so here's one for this:

small excerpt from my RP work in progress...all original characters:

The fall and kick were also enough, however, to result in damage to a pressurized canister of some sort. Alvarez wasn’t even sure what it was. He only knew that when it fell, when the nozzle snapped off, the contents mixed with the liquid and vapor of the cleaning agent, igniting in a fireball that was sucked up through the ventilation shaft. Not wanting the entire building to burn, Dion slammed his open palm against the vent switch, trapping the oxygen sucking fireball within the room where it quickly began to devour everything, living and otherwise, in its toxic flames. Gael barely managed to yank the lab door open before the alarms sounded, before the click activated that would have trapped both he and Dion in the burning room. The flames and fumes, however licked at him as he grabbed Dion and thrust the bleeding man into the corridor. He stumbled, dropped to his knees, and only Dion’s hold on his wrist, pulling him into the corridor behind him, allowed Alvarez to escape death.

Fenway was screaming. The clones were screaming. But the door was now sealed shut, unable to open again until the fire in the room consumed everything it could and burned itself out.

More screaming…alarms blaring…shouts and running footsteps as other staff members came to their aid. Those were the last memories, beyond the fleeting question of what the hell had just happened, that Gael was aware of as pain and blackness finally claimed him.

so hard to write 'action' scenes and get across what I see in my head, lmao.
sometimes I think I should be a cinematographer or director ;)
