Torrid Tuesday X2

I took an unintentional holiday from TT last week due to Fourth of July visitors and running around town and ...blanking. :(. Sorry. To make it up, I have two, count them, TWO prompts this week!

#1 - Hot, Hot, Hot. As in heatwave. Power failure. No fan. No AC. Yeah...as long as they're gonna sweat anyway.... (bonus applause for making use of the ice cubes before the freezer defrosts).

#2 - 'Hello, Stranger' -- AU summer vacation fling. Send your fictional darlings on vacation in another world. They've never met and likely won't again (except in canon in our world) and they're out to make this a trip to remember...

Let's see... July in the desert... yeah, I think I can work with that first one, even though we've had a bit of a *cold spell* lately... 105 as the high instead of 115. :D

I love the idea of that second one though. :D

Ha. That's a bit warm even for me. I have to say, though, last time I was in Vegas it was 94 degrees and I was running around enjoying it - and could BREATHE! When it's 94 on the east coast, the air turns into actual soup. Not the good kind. :\ But yeah, 115? That's gotta be rough anywhere.

I do love that second prompt - it's always good for some AU shenanigans.

I know exactly what you mean. I moved from Vegas to Houston and thought I was going to die because the humidity was so high. 94 with 10-15% humidity is comfortable. 94 with 70-80% makes you want to grab an oxygen mask. :D I actually really like the hot, hot weather, but everyone I know tells me I'm a freak of nature. Hahaha.

I agree. I'm thinking of using it on one of my original fic duos. In RL, one is straight as it gets, the other not so much. It'd be nice to let Andy get what he wants without screwing everything in their world up. *snort*

Still working on a new use for the ice. I've used it already so many times in the past that it's proving a bit tricky thus far. But I wrote this for another comm and realized it might fit here as well.

For the Summer fling, I wanted to do something with Disney Princesses, but the characters I chose don't exactly go on vacations. Hope this works instead. :-)

Wrote this partially for another comm which just also happened to be using the same challenge, and this time, I got the ice in there. ;-)
