"Old Macdonald" DCU Joker/Harley

"Old Macdonald had a farm A-I-A-I-O!" Harley sang at her loudest and most obnoxious. "On that farm he had some ducks A-I-A-I-O!"

Joker stopped what he was doing and put his big flashy silver handgun down on the table, slamming it down loud enough to make Harley jump. "It's E" Joker said quietly.

"What?" Harley frowned.

"It's E! E-I-E-I-O! E! Not A!" He glared at her with manic eyes.

Harley considered this for a moment, her head tilting to the left. She pursed her ruby red lips then shook her head, making her blonde pigtails swing either side of her head. "Nuh-uh. A. A-I-A-I-O."

Joker opened his big mouth to tell her she was being a moron but instead turned to the cop he had just tied to a chair. "Tell her," he sighed.

The cop, officer Wilson by his name tag, looked between them and said nothing. The left side of his face was bruised and his bottom lip split. He was too scared to say anything.

Joker snatched up the gun and jabbed Wilson in the chest with it. "Tell," he cocked the gun, "her."

"Out with it, out with it, tell 'im he's wrong," Harley urged.

Wilson's mouth opened and closed but no sound came out.

Joker pressed the barrel of the gun to Wilson's head and got right in his face. Wilson, shaking, could smell the stink of him. "Tell, her," Joker growled, spittle peppering the cop's face.

"It's...it's E."

Joker looked at the cop as he slumped sideways, his head bashed in. He shifted his eyes to Harley and the oversized mallet she was holding. "We need a new hostage puddin'," Harley flashed him a smile.

Joker laughed.

Harley twirled her mallet and sang "Old Macdonald had a farm, E-I-E-I-O."

Joker laughed louder.
