Cry me a river

cry me a river correct photo crymeariver_zps3e08e393.jpg

Your prompt is:

Too far

I want a graphic or 100 words featuring something too far. Maybe someone is too far away, easy little angst. OR maybe someone pushed something too far, something that just can't be returned from. Just make it angst!

No rewards, no deadline, just... Too far!

Another Olicity drabble. Going to paste it in here until I figure out how I'll be posting all of my drabbles in my journal! :D

He watched her from across the room as her fingers flew over the keys. Oliver loved watching her work. Felicity impressed him with her focus from that first moment, and before he knew it, he fell in love with everything else about her. He hated that she continued to avoid him as much as she could. Oliver knew she needed time so he will wait.

Felicity looked up from the computers and noticed he was watching her. She made eye contact and smiled. They were less than twenty feet apart, but those twenty feet seemed closer to a million miles.

Thank you! :D I've just been so sad for them lately. It's kind of helped me though, because I'm writing so much for them!

It is amazing how a bit of hardship for our favourites can make us churn out the fic! Sad for them, but also good news for us! ;-)

Well, this prompt made me think of only one thing. Steve/Bucky

He saw it again and again: the silver handle breaking off the train and Bucky falling, still gripping the metal, shock and disbelief slashed across his features. He grew smaller and smaller, disappearing into the crevasse before Steve could do anything, helpless as the train swept him away. Bucky was gone in seconds, leaving Steve clinging rigidly to the train, horrified and panicked. Frigid wind whipped around him, snow pelted his face, and the train’s engine churned relentlessly onward. Abruptly, a tunnel plunged him into darkness and he turned to fight.

Under the ice, Bucky, always falling, always too far.
